And the Lutheran Health Network Bariatric Center is where it all begins. The LHN Bariatric Center, part of Lutheran Health Network, offers a comprehensive, medically supervised weight loss program.

We're located in Fort Wayne, Ind., at Lutheran Hospital, but serve all of northeastern Indiana, southern Michigan and northwestern Ohio, including the cities of Fort Wayne, Huntington, Marion, Peru, Kokomo, Logansport, Lafayette, Frankfort, Crawfordsville, Auburn, Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Indianapolis, Lima, Dayton, Defiance, Bowling Green, Findlay, Toledo, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Lansing.

Our comprehensive program includes:

• A preoperative program of medically monitored weight loss, sometimes using OPTIFAST®, with multidisciplinary education.
• An average two-day hospital stay for laparoscopic Roux-en-Y surgery; same day (or outpatient) for LAP-BAND® placement.
• Laparoscopic gastric sleeve surgery
• Comprehensive postoperative supervision and education tailored to each patient.
